Number Plates

Although "number plates" is the most commonly used term for what we sell but it is not actually the correct definition of our main product. A number plate is actually the piece of plastic fitted on the front and rear of your car bearing the registration mark of your vehicle. You current font for UK number plates is the charles wright font, you may see number plates with other fonts but they would not be legal. More number plates advice and information page.

Private Number Plates

DVLA

The DVLA is the organisation of UK Government responsible for maintaining a database of drivers and a database of vehicles in Great Britain; its counterpart in Northern Ireland is the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA). The agency issues driving licences, organises collection of vehicle excise duty (also known as road tax and road fund licence) and sells "cherished marks" (private number plates).   More DVLA advice and information.
